AI Slop Canvas ("we", "our", or "the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Chrome extension.
TL;DR: The free extension collects no personal data—everything stays on your device. Optional Pro features in the future may require account creation, which would involve collecting your email and payment information only if you choose to sign up.
Information We Don't Collect (Free Extension)
The free version of AI Slop Canvas does NOT collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information
- Browsing history or activity
- Images or videos you create or process
- Your workflow configurations
- Your API keys or credentials
- Analytics or usage data
- Cookies or tracking information
Optional Pro Features (Future)
The free extension requires no account and collects no personal information. However, we may offer optional Pro features in the future that require creating an account on our website.
If you choose to create an account for Pro features, we would collect:
- Email address: For account creation, login, and communication
- Name: For account personalization (optional)
- Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe (we do not store credit card details)
- Account preferences: Your Pro subscription settings and preferences
Why we would collect this information:
- To provide you with access to Pro features

Important: Creating an account is entirely optional. The free extension works completely without any personal information. Your AI generation work, canvases, and workflows remain stored locally on your device regardless of whether you have a Pro account.
Local Storage
All data generated by AI Slop Canvas is stored locally in your browser using:
- IndexedDB: Stores your canvases, workflows, and library items
- Chrome Storage API: Stores your settings and API key (encrypted with AES-256)
- Blob Storage: Stores generated images and videos locally
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it or use the extension's features to send prompts to third-party AI services (Fal.ai).
Third-Party Services
AI Slop Canvas uses Fal.ai to generate AI images and videos. When you:
- Use AI generation features
- Submit prompts or images to AI models
This data is sent directly from your browser to Fal.ai's servers using your personal API key. We do NOT act as an intermediary, and we do NOT have access to this data. Please review Fal.ai's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your data.
API Key Security
Your Fal.ai API key is encrypted with AES-256 encryption before being stored in Chrome's local storage. Only you have access to this key, and it is only used to authenticate your requests to Fal.ai.
Permissions
AI Slop Canvas requests the following Chrome permissions:
- contextMenus: To add "Send to AI Slop Canvas" to right-click menus
- storage: To save your settings, workflows, and library locally
- activeTab: To access images from the current tab when you right-click them
These permissions are used solely for the extension's core functionality and never for data collection.
Data Retention
Free Extension: Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can:
- Delete individual items from your library
- Clear all data through the extension settings
- Uninstall the extension to remove all associated data
Pro Accounts (If Created): If you create an account for Pro features:
- You can request account deletion at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
- Upon account deletion, we will remove your email, name, and account preferences within 30 days
- Payment records may be retained for tax and legal compliance purposes as required by law
- Your locally-stored canvases and workflows are unaffected by account deletion
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
